Feed the Swimming Pigs
Just north of Staniel Cay is an uninhabited island called Big Major's Cay and it's home to the famous swimming pigs. Charter a day trip with Staniel Cay Yacht Club to visit them.
Quite possibly the best snorkeling location in The Bahamas. Thunderball Grotto can be visited by renting a boat or booking a half or full day excursion through Staniel Cay Yacht Club.
Nurse Sharks at Compass Cay
Swim with the friendly nurse sharks at Compass Cay and then quench your thirst with a ice cold beer and chat with owner Tucker Rolle for the local scoop. This marina is popular for boaters but they also have guest cottages available for rent.

National Family Islands Regatta & Georgetown Cruising Regatta
National Family Islands Regatta - 25th-29th April 2017. Annually held at the end of April. 60+ native sloops from all over The Bahamas gather at Elizabeth Harbour to take part in various Series and Cup Races. There will be five days of sailing featuring Bahamian native sloops – Classes A, B, C, D, and E. This tradition started in 1954 and today it is one of the oldest regattas in The Islands of The Bahamas.
Georgetown Cruising Regatta - 24th Feb-5 March 2017. Annually held at the end of February. This event includes ten days of activities for visiting cruisers and Exumians on Stocking Island, Elizabeth Harbor and George Town. You can enjoy two days of sailing, as well as spectacular onshore activities, such as conch-shell blowing contests, a variety show, softball competition, and lots more family fun-filled activities.
The Exumas Land and Sea Park
Established in 1958, Exuma Park is one of 25 National Parks and Protected Areas managed by the Bahamas National Trust. Warderick Wells is home to park headquarters where you can tour the many trails and visitor center.
Dive the sunken plane at Norman's Cay
A plane from the drug running days of the late 1970's and early 1980's, this is an amazing dive spot in shallow waters and a cockpit teeming with fish. Contact MacDuff's for accommodations on Norman's Cay.
Iguanas at Allan's Cay
